Description: This induction coil provides a variable DC pulsating spark from 10 mm to 50 mm long.
It provides voltage needed for cold cathode discharge tubes. It is current limiting to extend the life of the tube connected to it.

Purpose:
Safety Issues: Never attempt to install the Discharge Tube while power is applied to this Induction Coil.
Make sure the tube is cool before attempting to remove it. Turn the Power Switch OFF before removing the tube. Disclaimer (Warning - work in progress - may be incomplete)

Copyright © 2000 Instructions:Attach the discharge tube electrodes to the induction Coil binding posts before applying power to the unit.
Turn the Power Switch to its full CCW position and make sure the Polarity Switch is in the NORMAL position. Turn ON and observe if the pilot light is lit. If the pilot light is not lit turn OFF and check for power in that circuit.
Operate the tube intermittently to prolong the life of the tube.
Turn the Power Switch OFF before removing the tube.
