The studio consists of adjustable booms for lights or camera. A USB cable allows using CS3 Camera Raw to control the camera. ASU copyright The green background acts as a chroma key. The green can be replaced with another image. ASU copyright Here is an example of how the chroma key was used. The back ground is taken from an AJP article by Dick Berg about the demo. CS3 Photoshop allows me to manipulate the image and make the perspective correct. A shadow is thrown in to complete the illusion. ASU copyright

Description: The demonstration studio has a demo table with a green background. The green background is used as a chroma key so that it can be easily replaced with other images. The lights are cool CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lights) which have a high CRI (color rendition index) for photo lighting. The lights and camera can be put on booms which are versatile and adjustable. The light cube is for special photography requirements like photographing jewelry or coins. The umbrella mount can hold a diffusing umbrella in front of the light or be used to swivel so that the camera is oriented correctly. A long USB cable allows shooting RAW from the PC. Adjustments can be made from the PC in the camera settings. |
