PIRT Team Leader Tim Cook was recently named Safety Coordinator of the Department of Physics and Astronomy, following the transfer of John Wheatley, former Department Safety Coordinator, to the Center for Solid State Science. In a related development, Cook’s title was changed from Instructional Specialist Coordinator to Laboratory Manager. Cook states that “I look forward to working with all members and associates of the Department to maintain and enhance our safety condition.” He will continue performing his former duties as well.
