A PASCO constant velocity cart is placed on the relative motion track which in turn is on a PASCO 1m or 2m track. When the cart is activated, it stays still while the relative motion track moves below it.
Level the relative motion/1m track assembley. Place the constant velocity cart on the relative motion track. Make sure the 1m or 2m track has a stop on both ends to "catch" the relative motion track. Activate the cart when ready to perform the demo. Setting the cart speed too low causes the relative motion track to stop due to friction.
