Description: 

A set of steel reeds mounted on a common strip which is excited by a variable speed motor with an unbalanced flywheel.

Instructions: 

Connect the motor to a variable DC power supply. Gradually increase the motor's RPM (voltage) and watch the reeds vibrate in turn, longest to shortest.

Parts: 

Demo unit, table clamp, and 0-30VDC power supply.
