Description:

Channel A of the oscilloscope is across the signal generator and channel 5 is across the inductor. The waveform varies with the changing time constant.

Instructions:

Set up L,R and signal generator in series.
Place channel one of the oscope on the signal generator and select square wave.
Channel two goes parallel across the resistor.
Synch on channel one.
The resistor must be last in the circuit so that the oscope and signal generator share a common ground.

Parts:

8.2 mH coil (Df2)
2 rods (Da1)
decade resistor box (De3)
3 red cables
3 green cables
2 yellow cables
