The Sargent-Welch toroid is used to show a typical hysteresis curve of an inductor/transformer with a ferromagnetic core. When setting this demo up follow the schematic shown, however, values do not need to be exact in order to achieve very good results. This demo also works well with a broad range of frequencies (saw tooth signals are best), just adjust R3 to achieve the desired trace pattern.
