Description: 

To investigate standing waves in stretched nylon strings set up by mechanical driver; to measure the distance between two nodes for 6 wavelengths; to plot the wavelength vs square root of tension in the string , where T = mg and m is a mass suspended over the pulley; to determine the frequency of vibrator from the slope.
