Description: 

Balls with holes in them are arranged over a rod with alternating balls and springs. When held vertically the bottom spring is compressed more than the top one simulating the weight of air.

Instructions: 

PASCO's Matter Model is a collection of balls that connect with springs to form a cubic model. There is also a hole in the balls so that the balls and springs can fit over a rod.
