The tape is charged as in 5A10.151 and color coded with red and green then brought near the VDG or metal sphere to see if it attracts or repels. The VDG is on a table that can be rolled up next to the metal sphere to charge or induce charge.
The metal sphere is at the edge of the table so that the VDG can be rolled up to it. A ground wire is connected to the sink and attatches to a paper clip that hangs from the metal sphere. You can also see red and green markers used to mark tape.
A ground wire is connected to the ground of the demo table outlet. The other end is fastened to a meter stick with electrician's tape.
A meter stick is used to remove the ground wire from the metal sphere.
The charged VDG can be rolled up next to the metal sphere to charge it or induce charge. In the foreground the ground wire is seen connected to the faucet. The red and green meter sticks are used to hold charged tapes.
