A ladder leans against a wall. The wall is in contact with wheels on the ladder making it frictionless. The floor is in contact with ladder with friction. There are four choices for the frictional surface. A weight can be hung from any of the seven rungs of the ladder. A protractor with plumb bob measure the angle the ladder leans. A spring force guage can be connected to the bottom rung.
