Description
This demonstration uses pendula with varying lengths and a spring-mass system to demonstrate simple harmonic motion via two different systems. With the appropriate length pendulum and spring-mass system, the angle vs. time and position vs. time for each system are nearly identical.

Equipment Requirements
Requires a laptop with the Logger Pro software and a Vernier LabQuest interface to collect and display the data to the students. When opening Logger Pro it will automatically detect the sensors and generate the required graphs (the extra graphs can be deleted).
