Description
Two identical bars mounted on resonator boxes are slightly detuned by adding a movable weight to one of them. When struck, the bars produce sounds of slightly different frequencies, creating beats. This setup visually and audibly demonstrates the phenomenon of beats and the interference of sound waves with close frequencies.
