Description
Boomwhackers are tuned percussion tubes made of PVC that produce musical notes when struck against a surface. Each tube is a different length, corresponding to a specific musical pitch. This demonstration involves using a set of Boomwhackers to explore the relationship between the length of a tube and the pitch of the sound it produces. It also provides a hands-on way to study wave propagation, resonance, and the physical properties of sound.
