Description
A hand crank generator is used to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy by manually turning a crank connected to a generator. The generator produces an EMF, which can be used to light an ordinary light bulb or power other electrical devices. The harder the crank is turned, the more energy is generated. This demonstration exemplifies the basic operation of generators, where mechanical motion is converted into electrical power through electromagnetic induction.
