Earth-Moon System

Description
The Earth-Moon system demo involves two unequal masses fastened to the ends of a rigid bar, representing the Earth and Moon. When the system is spun about holes drilled in the bar at and off the center of mass, it demonstrates the wobble of the Earth due to the gravitational interaction with the Moon. This setup helps students understand the concept of the barycenter, the common center of mass around which two bodies orbit, and how the masses and distances of the bodies influence this point.
