Bringing Physics to the Public

The Physics Instructional Resource Team strives to bring exciting and entertaining physics demonstrations/equipment to the communities, schools, and organizations in the valley. Over the years the PIRT team has reached a broad range of people who gain value from both the knowledge and the entertainment of our outreach formats. Outreach may include a few tables with physics equipment for discussion, guided experimentation in a classroom, or even a demo show.

Collaboration

Our team often collaborates with ASU students and faculty as well as the Society of Physics Students (SPS) and Sundial. For any outreach-related inquiries please reach out to a PIRT team member via email (here) or fill out the Contact Us form.
