Description
A Harbottle is a glass bottle with an opening on both ends. A balloon is placed inside the Harbottle and is inflated. While inflated, if the opposite end is plugged, the balloon will stay inflated. This occurs due to the pressure inside balloon being equal to the pressure between the balloon and the inner walls of the Harbottle.
